Caitlin Bailey is a San Antonio native who primarily works on ocean exploration vessels, creating films and operating cameras both underwater and topside. Caitlin is a National Geographic Explorer and is part of the National Geographic Pristine Seas media team. She is a member of the International Association of Wildlife Filmmakers and the International League of Conservation Photographers. When not at sea, Caitlin is seeking opportunities in the camera department on local productions.
Caitlin has experience with the RED V-Raptor, RED Komodo, and Sony Venice 2. She has extensive experience operating remote cameras underwater on remotely operated vehicles between 500 and 6,000 meters. She also has experience with underwater filmmaking with a Sony A7iii and an underwater housing, which is part of her personal kit. Her personal kit as include a motion control slider, DJI RS 4 Pro gimbal, audio, and lights. Caitlin is also an FAA-licensed drone pilot and has experience with DJI Mavic 3 Pro, DJI Mavic 2, DJI Mini 2, and DJI Avata. Caitlin has also been a DIT with National Geographic Pristine Seas. She was a camera person on Pool Kings and has been a production assistant on Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Bath Crashers, and Food Paradise. Caitlin is a PADI certified Advanced Open Water diver.
