I'm a skilled editor/colorist, having used Adobe Premiere Pro for 8 years. I've edited narrative shorts, documentary shorts, and short-form content. I also have years of experience working with cameras, including Sony A7s & Canon C5000.While mentored by industry professionals, I directed, produced, wrote, and edited countless short films. Since graduating from UTSA in Spring 2025 (BA in Film/Media Studies), I've continued honing my skills as a freelance editor.
Hired by UTSA's Center for Urban and Regional Planning Research to film interviews and a community meeting focused on heat mitigation in Historic Westside neighborhood homes. I assembled the footage and edited a video submitted to the NSF for the department to receive a $75,000 federal grant.Hired by a local veteran to edit short-form YouTube videos. Currently in pre-production for a documentary short related to archival footage.Mentored by professional filmmaker Tiana Marenah to create an original anthology short film, The Compass, which went on to be accepted at CineFestival 2024.Participated in a mock writer’s room over three days under the mentorship of Emmy Winner Nina Fiore (Handmaid’s Tale, Vampire Diaries). Collaborated with classmates to deliver a pitch for an original network TV show. Receivedfeedback from Emmy Winner John Herrera (Handmaid’s Tale, Vampire Diaries), Tian Ju Gu (House of Cards), and Raymond Arturo Perez (Selena: The Series).
